Sadie and I almost got to go home the very day after she was born because she and I were doing so well, but the pediatrician wanted to be able to test her levels for jaundice because of our blood type difference. She could have been more susceptible to having jaundice. So, Tuesday morning, she tested okay for jaundice, and she had only lost 4oz, which the pediatrician said was very rare for a nursing baby. So we were both discharged. We were so excited to be going home! Daddy took a picture of Sadie, the boys, and me with the amazing woman, Becky Winike, who has delivered all of my babies. Then, Daddy loaded Sadie up in her car seat and we headed off for home sweet home!
