Baby Girl Compton

The Compton cousins got to hang out with us for a bit while we waited for their parents to get home with their brand new baby sister, Marlie. She is so sweet. Everyone was SO excited to meet her!

Sunset By the Mississippi

We met up with Grandma Church to watch the Sunset by the Mississippi show down on the flats. My cousin, Annette Baird, has a daughter who is serving a mission here as a member of the Nauvoo Brass Band. Her name is Shayla, and she plays the clarinet. It was fun to see her play.

Happy 7th Birthday, Zoie!

Today we celebrated Zoie's 7th birthday a day early. She had lots of cousins over for an amazing day. We love Zoie so much and are so proud to have her in our family. She is kind, funny, artistic, musical, and has such a sweet spirit about her. Happy Birthday Zoie! 🎈

Library Activity

The little ones and I headed out on a hot day to a library activity at the city park. The kids all got to make hanging planets out of CDs, and had a lot of fun. They also played on the playground. I thought it was so cute to look over and see Zoie and her cousin Danny enjoying one of Danny's 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' books together.

Ward Activity

Our ward had a pretty impressive activity themed around Old Testament stories. Grandma and Grandpa Church ran one of the stations that the kids could go to. They earned stickers for each station they went to. The food was biblical food, and the primary and young men all participated in skits that told stories from the Old Testament. It was a pretty fun night.

A Good Day

Grandma Church got to babysit Grayson. It's always an amazing time to be with Grandma. Grayson played his heart out, and later that day, when he was home with Mommy again, he fell asleep on his chair at the kitchen table. A sign that he had a good, full day.

 

Out Walking

It was the perfect day to go out walking with neighborhood friends.

Jiu Jitsu Tournament

Sadie and Cody competed in their first real jiu jitsu tournament. They did great and had a fun time. I'm glad they had this opportunity.

Grandpa Time

Grandpa's lap is the best place to be.

 

Temple Baptisms

We had a special experience in the temple today. Landon is a priest now and got to baptize Ethan and Danny in the baptistery today.

Celebrating Danny's Birthday

It's always fun to spend time at the Compton's house. We got to go over and celebrate Danny's birthday.
