 Oh Zoie, you make our family complete. You are so sweet, and pleasant, and beautiful! Your daddy, mommy, brothers, and sister love you so much. As your mommy, I never want to forget how it feels to hold you in my arms, and feel your cute little fingers in my hands. You are and angel.

Happy Anniversary!

Nine years ago, Kendall and I got married! I can't believe how lucky I am to have him in my life. I am so happy that I get to have him FOREVER along with our amazing children. It's a wonderful life!

Sadie helped me get ready for a date night with Daddy. We wore our red lipstick for the occasion. Then, we celebrated with a family dinner of homemade Chinese food and cheesecake. Afterward, Daddy took Mommy on a date to get some yummy ice cream.

First Day of School

We have a 3rd grader and a 1st grader this year!

Mock Bus Accident

On occasion, we get to help daddy with his Fire and EMS training. He had lots of volunteers (including Aunt Mary and Great Grandma Trapp) show up to be actors in a "bus accident." Then, the Fire/EMS crew practiced triaging the "patients." The boys were good actors and Sadie thought it was all fun and exciting. 

 

 

 

 

Mc Sadie's

The three kids were having fun all playing together. There was a drive up window where you could order food from what Landon called "Mc Sadie's" restaurant. 

Kodak Moment

2 Months Old

Look at this little beauty. She is so sweet. She has such a cute smile. She loves to tell stories and really likes Mommy's undivided attention. It is so fun to look her in the eyes and get her to talk and smile and you! Zoie gets excited when people talk to her. Mommy heard her giggling in her sleep a couple different times. It was so adorable! Zoie has become a big fan of the pacifier. Sometimes when it pops out of her mouth, she pushes her hands up to her face and pushes the pacifier back into her mouth. What skills! She has even figured out out to drink milk from a bottle. Zoie went to the doctor for her 2 month check up. She is now 12 lbs 2 oz, and is 22 1/2 inches tall. On the growth charts that puts her at 75% for weight and 50% for height. What a beautiful sweet baby she is.

Spy Gear

Landon and Ethan have Spy gear that they got for Christmas a couple of years ago. They were playing Spy when Sadie wanted in on the fun too. Here she is with the spy glasses on. It is helpful to wear a baseball cap on your head to hold it in place. 

Now she can see in the dark!

Dress Up

Sadie is either dressing up or dressing down. I prefer the dressing up I think. When she isn't ripping off her diaper, she is finding clothes to put on. She found Landon's swimming trunks and shirt one day, some tank tops from Mommy's closet another day. Then, today, Mom was sorting through some hand-me-downs from a friend, and Sadie decided to try them all on. One right on top of the other. Then, to complete that outfit, she put on her brother's Crocs.
