Kentucky Again

We headed back to Kentucky again so Dad could finish up some more fire investigation classes for his degree. This time around, he had to remember the information from his last investigation experience and take it to court. He is getting close to being done with school! The rest of us entertained ourselves the best we could at an Airbnb. The little ones were thrilled about the triple bunk beds in their room. The big boys brought along a gaming system to entertain themselves with. There was an enclosed backyard with a patio where we could spend time playing and eating ice cream cones. We missed Dad all day long each day, but enjoyed yummy dinners with him in the evenings. We are so proud of him for all of his hard work.

Custard!

Summer means custard! We always try and make it out at least once during the summer to have a yummy scoop of custard. My personal favorite is the vanilla.

 

T-Ball

This little gal had a great first experience playing T-Ball.

Ice Cream Monster

I think I caught this little lady by surprise. She is a problem solver and figured she didn't need help dishing up for herself a nice chocolaty bowl of ice cream. She had it all under control.

 

Sibling Story Time

There aren't many things better than siblings reading stories together while snacking on Doritos. 

Hair Cut

Landon was in the mood for a change. He had been growing his hair out a bit and was now ready for a new style. Since I am only really experienced with doing buzz cuts, we scheduled an appointment with my hair dresser friend and she cut and styled his hair. He looks incredibly handsome. 

Young Men's Camp

Landon and Ethan had the opportunity to spend  a week at Young Men's camp. The theme this year was "Sons of Thunder."
