Sadie and Mommy got to go on a fun little adventure today. It was Sadie's first time to ever ride on a school bus. She was pretty excited about that. Her class took a field trip to an apple orchard and got to pick their own apple. Sadie and I chose a red empire apple and then we shinned them up on our shirts. They were pretty apples that tasted delicious! We even got to go to the Fudge Factory to see how a caramelized apple is made. Of course, we bought some goodies to bring home and share with the family. Sadie chose a chocolate Nauvoo brick. Yum!

 

Rocking Chair

There aren't many things sweeter than to see one of my little ones asleep in the rocking chair with their grandpa. I love these two so much!

Little Drummer Boys

We now have two drummers in the house. Ethan has just begun band and wanted to be a drummer too. They boys have each other to practice with after school now.

Family Fun Fishing Night

Sadie's preschool class had a family fun night at the park. There was fishing and boat rides. Sadie even caught a little fish! It was a fun night that ended with roasted hot dogs and smores. 

A Really Cool Park!

We have been eyeing this park for quite some time and finally took the opportunity to go check it out. It is a pretty new park with really need playing equipment which is all handicap accessible. We met up with our fun cousins to play and nobody wanted to leave.

 

 

Flag Football

 Landon and Ethan have grown to like flag football quite a bit. I am proud of them for trying something new. Here are pictures from several different games. Ethan's team got together for a picture at the end of the season, but unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of Landon and his team. 

Story Time with Siblings

 It's getting hard for Mom to make it around to each person to read to them before bed. We have come up with some good sibling story time so everyone gets the chance to have a story read to them. The boys read to their little sisters while Mommy puts the baby to sleep. I love it when they spend time together reading. 

Football practice got cancelled because of rain, but that didn't stop us from meeting up at the park to play anyway. Danny found a little frog and Ethan found a toad. They had so much fun with their little bouncy friends and wished they could take them home.
