When the weather tapered down to better temperatures, the boys got to ride around the yard in their little blue race car. Notice their awesome hats. We took daddy clothes shopping for his birthday. While the boys and I were waiting for daddy to finish trying on clothes, the boys spotted some hats that they really wanted. Luckily the hats were 50% off, and so we let them get their cool hats. Ethan loves the ball on top of his hat, and Landon's has a cool visor like a baseball cap.
Ethan is in love with books. He wants to be read to all the time. He is so curious and loves adventure. Books are great for this boy with his amazing imagination!
My siblings and I all received journals as gifts from our parents when we were kids. I had a big blue covered one. Starting out, my mom would write down what I wanted to say. This was back before I knew how to write and spell. I love going back and reading that journal. I was never very good at writing in the journal very often though. I'm 25 years old and that big blue journal has lasted me this long. I hope I can get my kids into keeping a journal better that I did because they are so much fun to go back and read. I got both of the boys journals last year around Landon's third birthday. Landon loves having journal time. He tells me what to write, and then he draws pictures at the end of his journal entries.
These types of pictures never go out of style. What an amazing husband I have right there with the sweetest little 2 year old boy.
Ken had his 26th birthday back on February 11th. We celebrated it with an Angry Birds birthday cake, but only after enjoying some amazing food that his mom fixed for everyone.
Landon is Mr. Flexible. He thinks this trick is pretty silly.
Our neighbor had a gingerbread house from Christmas that was never opened, and asked the boys if they would like it. They were oh so excited, and so we enjoyed some late Christmas cheer at our house.
He lays right on the very top of the couch. Silly boy.
