It snowed! We had to get some more use out of Sadie's adorable snow suit. This little snow princess is adorable. She had fun getting pulled around on the sled, making snow angels on the trampoline, and building a little snowman.
Dad hates to go on trips alone, and the kids love to go with him. Especially when there is a pool. I'm happy the kid have so much fun, but it is exhausting for a Mama. Especially when toddlers refuse to fall asleep at night. Oh my. This phase of life is a bit difficult in hotel rooms at night with Sadie lady and Zoie. At least I caught a couple snoozes with my snugly Zoie during the day while Daddy was at class.
The little ones discovered this Thomas the train table I had put away. They insisted on getting it out and setting it all up for snacks. They even set a chair out for Mom. Then, the highlight of the day was peeking outside at the garbage truck.
Before nap time and bed time, I sit down with Zoie on my bed and read books with her. We face one another; she holds the books and turns the pages while I try to show her sign language for the different things that she sees. She has caught on and knows many signs now. She can say many words also, and I am so proud of her. I still struggle with getting her to wear hearing aids though. I wonder if she will ever decide they are a good idea to keep in for more than an hour at a time.
We are having some chillier days, but not cold enough to keep us from the park. These toddlers do good to burn off some energy playing outside rather than making messes of the house.
