Zoie is so delightful! She adds so much to our family. I have loved watching each of my children grow, and Zoie is no exception. Zoie is definitely learning a lot. She gets very excited when we hold onto her little hands and let her walk around the room now.
We are still working on getting her used to wearing her hearing aids. Every day, we try to have "Zoie time," where we all play with her and help her have fun while she has her hearing aids on. It is quite the task, as she pulls her aids out constantly and puts them into her mouth. It's a challenge, but I am assured by her doctors and Early Intervention friend, that it WILL happen in time. Until then, we are persevering, all the while, Mommy is slowly learning some sign language to to try and incorporate into our communication. Zoie loves to mimic sounds she hears us make, especially growling. That is her specialty. She growls when she sees Daddy. She also growls back at Grandpa Church when he talks to her in his Donald Duck voice. This girl is amazing fun.
