These pictures were taken Easter Sunday. I tried really hard to get both of the boys to sit and pose for the camera, but it wasn't working. Landon got the cutest new suit from Grandpa Gallaher. The boys look so adorable in their Sunday clothes.

Easter Egg Hunt
Landon and Ethan were able to go to three Easter egg hunts this year, one put on by the fire station, another one at Grandma Trapp's house, and then one at Grandma and Grandpa Church's house. We only got pictures from the first one, at the fire station. The boys were so excited to go. First, we went to the fire station for the pancake breakfast. Afterward, the egg hunt began.
Here are the boys with Aunt Sarah, waiting for the egg hunt to begin. Ethan picked up about 3 eggs before they said, "Go!" They are about the only ones he was able to snag. Everyone was just too fast. He was a bit slow because he had to open each egg and empty it into his basket before he went on to look for another egg. Ethan was thrilled with what he got though. Landon knew exactly what to do. He was so speedy out there collecting all the eggs that he could get to. Grandpa Gallaher wanted to get a picture of the boys with the Easter bunny, but Ethan was too afraid of the bunny to get a picture by him. So, I caught a picture of the boys together and that was good enough for me.

Ethan is 2!
It has been a whole month since Ethan had a birthday and turned 2! He is the cutest 2 year old boy ever. The morning of his birthday, Landon and I went into his room and sang "Happy Birthday" to him. He really seemed to enjoy that. Afterward, we had special birthday pancakes.
Later that day, the boys enjoyed watching Easter movies together. We even got to go to the park and play. I think Ethan had a great birthday. Several days later, we had a family birthday party for Ethan. He had been asking me for a "Tas Tain" (Thomas the Train) birthday cake. We set him on the table to get a good picture of him with his cake. He seemed a bit confused as to why he was sitting on the table with everyone staring at him. Landon assisted Ethan in blowing out the birthday candles. Then, it was time for presents! Ethan was enthusiastic about all the presents he got to open. He was sure to show me each gift he received and I would try to snap quick pictures of him showing me his gifts. Happy Birthday Ethan!
We love you!

Landon, the Sponge
Recently, Landon has learned so many things. He can count to 10, and often almost to 20. He knows all of his letters, both upper case and lower case. Right now, he is learning to write all of his letters. He can aslo sing his alphabet. He can sing several songs, actually. He has a great singing voice already. He can receipt a couple nursery rhymes too. He is just a sponge and learns so quickly! What a smart boy.
Here are a couple of videos that highlight some of his progress.

Car Wash in the Garage
Landon loves his little blue race car. It was kind of a cool day outside, but the boys really wanted to go out and play. I decided that I needed to do some cleaning up in the garage, so I let the boys go out with me to do some cleaning. We were still in their pajamas, but that's okay because no one saw us anyway. Landon wanted to have a car wash. Ethan was totally for the idea. I found an empty trash can and some of daddy's shop rags and the boys got to work. Landon worked really hard washing every inch of his car while Ethan mostly played in the water. I had to stop Ethan a few times from putting the wet rag in his mouth. Yuck. By the end of the car wash, the car was sparkling, and the boys were filthy. What fun.

Friday Morning
What happens every Friday morning at our house? GARBAGE TRUCK! It comes every Friday, and it never gets old. Landon and Ethan both love to watch the garbage truck go by and pick up all of the trash. Ethan pushed his chair up to the door so that he could have a closer look. When it gets warmer, I will let the boys sit out on the front porch to watch. The garbage man always waves at the boys...which makes the event that much more exciting!
Videos
I'm already a month behind on my posting, and I have a lot of posting for the month of April. I'm going to do my best to get caught up soon. I do have a few little videos. They might not be the most exciting, but that is okay. The boys love to play outside, and the last couple of weeks have brought some rainy days; we're ready to stay outside!
