Being Together

What does being together look like? Sometimes it's just playing near Daddy while he takes a nap or reading your baby brother a book. Sometimes little brother enjoys it, while other times he throws a fit. Sometimes it's playing out on the trampoline or just sitting with your sisters to enjoy a story book together. The neat thing about being in a big family is there is ususally someone, somewhere who can just be with you. Being together with a built in friend.  Sometimes you laugh together, sometimes you cry together, and unfortunately, there are times you don't actually want to be together, but being together is a blessing, and we should always remember that.

Zoie's Artwork

Zoie's artwork is often very, very detailed. I love the facial features she gives each person she draws. She puts a lot of work into her artwork. On the left she drew her big brothers at the top of her pictures, with Oaklee, herself, and Sadie down below. I don't remember all of the details about the picture, but the picture on the right is a picture of Mom and Dad. I just love seeing her creations.

 

Walka, Walka, Choo, Choo!

Grayson is getting the hang of this walking business. All by himself, he can walk and push his train!

 

A Fun Family Night

For family home evening, Landon suggested that we set goals as a whole family to work on together; we decided to turn our kitchen door into a big giant goal chart. Each of us in our family, came up with their own physical, spiritual, social, and intelectual goal and placed them up on the chart. Ethan helped make pizza. Yum! Then, for our activity, we took a bunch of old broken crayons (we had tons of them) and melted them in silicon molds. Out came giant crayons for all of the kids. 

Belated Valentine Fun

The girls found my leftover valentine party things from when I helped with Ethan's class valentine party. Of course, we had to have a party of our own. These girls are so fun!

Specials Boys

It's so fun to get pictures with these two together. Our oldest and our youngest.

 

A Dream Come True

Our wonderful Sadie surprised me by making my bed! What a kind service for two very busy parents. I am impressed with how willing Sadie is to help me out around the house. She brightens my difficult days.

Hearing Aid Appointments Call for Ice Cream

It was time for a hearing test and hearing aid appointment. Zoie is getting more and more brave. She was excited to get stickers to play with and to go out for ice cream.

Kindergarten Fun

Mrs. Fink is such a great teacher, and there is always something exciting happening in her class. Here are a couple pictures of Sadie with her Kindergarten class.

Ethan has always been so cute with his little siblings. Sweet little babies adore him. Grayson was loving the attention Ethan was giving to him. 

Sister Story Time

Zoie was so kind to read to Oaklee, our little book addict. Never mind the cheese fingers. Movies require popcorn; I guess reading requires cheese puffs.
