School Days

It's taken some getting used to life without Zoie and the 3 big kids at home anymore. Zoie is doing well, though, she is a timid. She got to see what it is like on a bus today as they talked about bus safety. She is also lucky enough to have Eden as her reading buddy in preschool. Back at home, Oaklee and I have spent time outdoors, talking about colors and trying to have fun while we wait for the big kids to get back home from school. Also, we have pretty flowers in bloom. I love flowers!

Little Old Wicket

Wicket has been struggling with old age. We don't know how much longer she is going to stick around so we all went for a special visit to see Wicket.

 

Picture Day Ready

Today was picture day at the school. The girls looked so beautiful. School days are so much fun for these two, and Oaklee, Grayson and I get more time together. Oaklee is quite a silly little helper when making sign language videos. She sure has a bright personality. Sadie was excited to show me that she wrote some music. Very cute! And Zoie's teacher sent me picture of Zoie one day at one of her learning stations. I love seeing my girls happy!

 

New Days

Our days are looking a bit different now. It is a different feeling having only the two little ones at home with me during the day. Oaklee has kept busy though, playing Elsa. And Grayson can roll over! Cute little buddy. Oaklee has also been helping me make sign language videos for preschool to watch every week. It has been pretty fun. Sometimes Grayson is in the videos too.  I just love having little Grayson around. I still try wrapping him up like a burrito when he sleeps. He is so sweet.

At night, we have a bedtime routine, and part of it is picking out clothes for the following school day. I love how the girls lay out their outfits on the end of their beds. Zoie's has to be laid out just perfectly. It is pretty cute.

 

 

Trampoline Time

These girls have the best time with Daddy. He is the best!

Homework

Here were some of Sadie's first homework assignments for Kindergarten. She had to decorate this little paper doll to look like herself. It turned out really cute! She also needed a family picture, but we don't have one with Grayson yet. Daddy came up with this briliant idea. Haha! The Sadie Bunch!

Grandma's House!

Zoie started school with half of her class yesterday, but today, the other half has their first day of school. They will all meet together on Friday. This helps each of the preschoolers get settled into school a little easier. Today, we had to do something amazing to get Zoie's mind off of the fact that she couldn't be at school. Grandma Church's house was the perfect distraction. We always have fun at Grandma's house.

Zoie's First Day of School

Our sweet Zoie had her first day of pre-school today. She was shy, but she loved her day!

Happy 13th Anniversary!

Today is the 13th anniversary for Kendall and me. We are missing each other today because he is gone to police academy. I can't wait until he gets to come back home. I am grateful for the life we have together and look forward to the next 13 years. I am the luckiest. 💑

First Day of School

This year, Landon is in 7th grade, Ethan is in 5th grade, and Sadie is in Kindergarten. They all seemed to have a pretty good first day of school today. Zoie will start school later this week. She is anxious to go to school with her siblings. She had fun watching and waiting for them to get home from school today. The girls were all excited to see one another and spent some time outdoors. I hope Zoie has a great first day of school too!
