Sadie got to go to a pirate themed birthday party for her friend Benson. She had a blast!

We are loving all of our flowers that are growing. Look at our beautiful peonies! We picked some to enjoy as a center piece.

It's Always Fun When Grandma Comes

Grandma Church sure helps out a lot. She was taking care of the other kids while I took Grayson to his appointment today. When I came home, I found her reading a book to Oaklee. Oaklee loves to be with Grandma Church. I think she likes being with Grandma more than Mommy! And don't forget Landon, the photo bomber, with one of his kitten buddies. Landon sure takes good care of the kittens.

Check Up

Grayson had a check up today. He is a healthy boy who now weighs 7lbs 15oz and is 21.46 inches long. Everything looks good!

Baby's First Bath

I finally got to give Grayson a real bath today. His belly button and everything is all healed up, and so Sadie assisted me in giving little baby brother his first real bath in the bathtub. 

Curls!

Oaklee has some natural curl to her hair. I am loving it, and being reminded of the days when Sadie had curls just like these. Thank heaven for sweet little girls with curls!

Two Weeks Old!

Look at this handsome little boy! He is 2 weeks old! He has already proven how strong he is by rolling over from him tummy to his back. I want to capture every tiny detail of this little boys life.

Fun by the River

We have been getting crazy amounts of rain, so in between the rain, we stopped at the edge of the river and threw rocks into it. All of the kids enjoyed that. It was so fun to be all together as a family. 

Big Sister

Sadie holds Grayson every chance she gets. She has been so caring and gentle with him. She is a natural little mommy.

Never Forget

There are so many changes that sweet little babies go through. I don't want to forget anything. Right now, I don't want to forget how skinny his little legs and arms are and how quiet and content he seems to be. I love the little ooos he makes with his tiny lips and all the little creases on his forehead that he gets when he opens his eyes wide and raises up his eyebrows. Those little forehead wrinkles are so fun to kiss. He is so little and perfect and so heavenly. I love little Grayson so much.

The Nativity

We found Sadie and Zoie acting out the Nativity. Zoie had a baby doll under her shirt acting like she was Mary, and Sadie had Zoie sit side saddle on this rocking horse, pretending like it was a donkey. Sadie was pretending to be Joseph leading the donkey with Mary on it. It was neat to see how well they know such an important story.

Sadie's First Day of Summer!

Today was Sadie's first day of summer. She didn't quite know what to do with herself. She had fun holding baby brother and thought it was fun to be home, but she requested several times to be able to play at the park. So, the three little girls and baby brother went to play at the park today. Also, Grayson is getting to be a champ at using the pacifier.

 

 

Happy Birthday Russell!

We got to celebrate cousin Russell's first birthday today. The kids had so much fun, they were even climbing the walls! 

Graduation

Sadie graduated from Pre-K today. I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten next school year! She has loved school this year. Ms. McConnell and Mrs. Hall have been amazing. I am so happy Sadie had such a great experience. 

 

We Can't Help Falling In Love

Great Grandma Marie crocheted this beautiful blanket and booties for our sweet Grayson. What a lucky little boy!
