Nature Hike

These three boys are all cub scouts. I have asked my boys to work on a scout goal every day. Ethan had to get a hike in so we all went for a hike while cousin Devon was in town. We had a good time, and the boys discovered lots of cool things in nature.

Watercolors and Lilipads

It's been a beautiful summer. We spent some time outdoors painting with watercolors, and then we drove by the Mississippi and enjoyed looking at all of the lilies blossomed on the river.

Aunt Mary

Aunt Mary was visiting Grandma and Grandpa Church so we headed over to visit too. Mary sure loves her nieces and nephews, and they love her back.

Ice Cream!

It wouldn't be summer without ice cream cones and visits to Annie's Custard. Yummy!

Playmates

Sadie sure is kind and gentle with baby Oaklee. She really watches out for her and is sure to notify me if she thinks anything is amiss. She is a mother hen who loves to take care of and play with little
Oaklee. She really is quite helpful.

Grandma Church

What mothers will do for their children is divine. I feel incredibly grateful for my mom and hope I can emulate her as I raise all of my beautiful babies.

Lullabies

Sadie likes to sing lullabies to Oaklee. Oaklee seems to enjoy listening. I surprised Oaklee with the flash when I took this picture.

Sunday

I had to get a picture of sweet Oaklee while she was still wearing her Sunday dress. Sadie joined me outside too. She loves to play in the rocks.

Laundry

Oh my goodness. Look what I found in my laundry!
At least these were the baskets of already cleaned clothes.

Fun With Our Hicks Cousins!

We were so lucky to have the Hicks cousins come for a visit! They spent a good amount of time with the Gallaher kids on the slip n slide in Grandma Church's front yard. Everyone went swimming at the pool in Hamilton, one day too, to get away from the heat. The kids all enjoyed the production of "Sunset by the Mississippi" down on the flats too. Landon even went on stage with Sadie and danced with her. Sadie was having the time of her life. Then, Landon took hold of Sadie's and Zoie's hands and walked them through the parade and up onto the stage. They really liked that. Uncle Donald got to stand while they played the Marine song. It's neat to see them pay tribute to our veterans. Donald is definitely an amazing person. I'm lucky to have him for a brother.
Then, there was a fun obstacle course that the cousins created outside, and cuddle time with new baby Oaklee. We always have fun when cousins come!
