After I told Sadie what her shirt said, she replied, "Daddy's gonna love this!" Then, she ran off to find him.

Best Baby Ever
Big news! Oaklee's first tooth has poked through! Her bottom left tooth is through and the right front tooth is about to break through as well. This poor girl has endured a lot of sickness and pain recently, and she has been so pleasant. She is the best baby ever. 😊

Dog Sitting
We have a new family in the ward at church. They just recently moved in, and had a family emergency they had to leave town for. They didn't know who to have watch their dog, Coda, for them, and so I offered to help them out. He has turned out to be a pretty great dog. The kids have enjoyed having him stay and will miss him when he goes.

Christmas With the Gallahers
Our Christmas celebration with the Gallahers was great too. I am always excited to see what our Christmas ornament will look like that Ken's parents get for us each year. I love our new one! We were spoiled with gifts and good company. Here are a couple of fun highlights:
Kendall is being promoted to Assistant Chief and got his white fire helmet. It's pretty exciting!
Grandpa hand made some cool money trees and gave one to Ken and each of his siblings. The kids got more than they could have ever asked for, and even got to enjoy reading some good books together. It's great to spend time with family!

Christmas With the Churches
Having extra cousins living near by makes the holiday get togethers even more fun! We acted out the traditional Nativity. Afterward, we opened some gifts and enjoyed being together.
Christmas Snow!
Sadie couldn't take it any longer. She just had to get out and play in the snow. She was so excited to make a snow angel. Landon was kind enough to go out and play with her. They both had lots of fun!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas
Christmas Eve morning, we woke up to beautiful white snow! It's going to be a white Christmas!
Landon and Ethan went to church with Grandma and Grandpa Church and poor Dad had to go off and plow snow while I took care of sick little girls. Poor Oaklee was sounding pretty bad. She hung out by the humidifier most of the day. Bishop (Doctor) Smith even came by to check on her and with the help of his son and Grandpa Church, they gave her a blessing. As the day went on, and the more she stayed by the humidifier, the better she started to sound. She was up until about 1 or 2 in the morning and finally fell asleep. This was the first time she had slept without having to be in my arms all night.
The Smiths brought by a cute decorated gingerbread sleigh filled with candy. It was so cute, and the kids gobbled up the candy. The kids were all so excited! Sadie helped me make cookies for Santa, and then the kids wanted to go to bed. Ethan was was determined to catch Santa this year so he slept on the couch up in the library loft. Landon was so excited that it took him several hours before he finally fell asleep. It finally happened though. Everyone finally fell asleep. It is going to be a wonderful Christmas. The birth of our Savior is the most important birthday we will ever celebrate. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Bug
Christmas is almost here and I have been trying to get caught up on all of the chores. Holidays are just so much more enjoyable and relaxing when the house is clean. Things have been pretty slow moving though, we've caught a bug, and it has been hard on everyone, especially little Oaklee.
