Every year, Nauvoo has a prairie grass burning on the flats. I had actually never seen it before, and so I brought the kids along to check it out. We saw our amazing firemen there and were able to snap a picture with Grandpa, the fire chief.

Sunday Sweethearts
I love getting the children all dressed up. They all looked SO cute! Including Ethan, but he does not enjoy dressing up, and so he takes advantage, the first chance he has, of changing out of his church clothes. What a funny boy. This explains why there are no pictures of him here.
Landon was so sweet to take pictures with his little sister. They are so good looking!

March Randomness
Here are a few cute, but random pictures. Sadie is a tricky one to feed. For the time being, she will eat if the high chair is pushed up to the table. She will NOT eat off of the high chair tray. Oh, but she loves her milk. Look at her with her feet kicked up, enjoying a bottle.
Then there is Sadie's partner in crime, Juliana. See how she enjoys playing in the toy bucket with the toys spread all about. She and Sadie are pros at making messes.
And my boys. They could spend an eternity on their tablets, and so when Dad brought home his old laser tag game, I was thrilled almost as much as the boys were. They had a great time playing tag down in the basement. What fun!

A Trip to Georgia
Kendall has been taking an Advanced EMT class, and part of the class requires him to go to Georgia for some practicals. This means our whole family gets to go along with Daddy and stay in a hotel! Woohoo! The kids love hotels. All of the kids did amazingly well on the trip down. I am so proud of them.
Daddy had a day off of class on Friday, and so we had the opportunity to explore some of Georgia. We went to Atlanta and saw a little bit of the World of Cocoa Cola museum, but the greatest thing we got to do was go to the Georgia Aquarium. Apparently it is the largest aquarium in the US. It was really neat. The boys and Sadie really loved it. We spent quite a bit of time there. There were huge tanks. There was a great big tunnel that we got to walk through with fish all around us. A few of the things we saw were whale sharks and balooga whales, white alligators, sea dragons, and poisonous frogs; we even got to pet some star fish, and other sea creatures. There was also a 4D movie with cartoon sea animals we got to go and watch in a theatre.
It was a long, fun filled day!
After we got into the car to head back to our hotel, I realized my cell phone was missing. We decided I must have dropped it in the theatre. So Landon was kind enough to hold my hand and go back with me to see if we could rescue my cell phone. Luckily, a nice security guard let us back into the building, and after Landon said a few prayers, we found the phone right under the chair I had been sitting in at the theatre. What a relief. It wasn't a fun experience to loose my cell phone, but it was a great experience Landon and I had with the power of prayer.
So, then the rest of the trip, the kids and Mom hung out in the hotel while Daddy went to classes. It wasn't too bad. The kids finished all of their make-up work for school and played on their tablets until they were all tuckered out.
Finally, it was time to head home! Sadie helped me pack up, and we headed back home after another one of our family adventures. We love family time! Even if it means 12 hour long road trips. We have the best time just being together!
Oh! I can't forget about the lovely wall art that was hanging throughout the hotel. Ha ha! This large framed picture was hanging above our couch.
