Ethan really likes to help in the kitchen. It's so great for Mom! This particular night, Ethan made taco soup.

Please Get Better!
Soon after her birthday, Juliana got very sick and ended up in the hospital. The kids missed playing with her. We couldn't go visit her at the hospital. Instead, the kids made hearts for Juliana and we put this picture on Facebook for Juliana to see. Poor little lady.
Handwriting
Look who is learning to write in cursive! Landon is so excited!
Ethan is getting some pretty good handwriting himself, and Sadie wants to learn how to write too.

Playing Cars
Sadie has been dying to play with her brothers the way she sees them play together. I pulled out the car rug, brought up some toy cars and had the kids play together. Sadie was in heaven! She knew just what to do with those cars, how to push them around and make the motor sounds. She LOVES to play with her brothers as much as she can.

Pretty in Pink
At Sadie's baby shower, I received this beautiful dress from Nanette and Hannah Evans. I have been anxiously waiting for her to grow big enough to wear it. Not that I want her to grow up any faster than she already is. What a pretty dress for a pretty girl.

The Drawer War
Oh my little Sadie. What a mischievous girl. After Sadie learned to open it, I soon had to remove everything from out of this drawer because I was tired of rewashing it's contents each time they were flung out and strewn across the floor. But then, Sadie learned how to climb into this drawer. It was finally time to just pull the drawer completely out because she started bouncing in it. I was afraid she would ruin it, and in fact she bent the tracks the drawers rolled on. Luckily, Grandpa was over one day to help me put locks on cabinets and he fixed the drawer for me. Sadie was cute playing in the drawer while she had the chance though.

13 Months Old
Our gorgeous baby is turning into a toddler.
Sadie is getting so independent. She is so pleasant. She likes to laugh.
She is light as a feather. She only weighs 16 pounds, less than the 5th percentile for her weight. I guess she hasn't been getting enough milk from nursing because mommy is expecting another baby. We're trying to get her to gain weight. Luckily, she has figured out how to use a bottle (thanks to Juliana), and so we are able to get her to drink milk that way. She actually has a pretty big appetite now and can eat just as much as the boys sometimes. I guess she was starving! I hope she can keep this up and get back the weight she lost. When she was 9 months old, she weighed 17 pounds, putting her in the 25th percentile. We'll go back in March to see how she is doing.
We love every little piece of this beautiful girl, even if she only has 16 little pounds to love. :)

Baby Motzart
I wonder if this girl will grow up to be a musician. She likes to hum and dance, and now she likes to play the piano.
