Great Grandma Church made the long trip from Utah all the way to Nauvoo. She will be living here from now on and be well cared for. I've never lived close by my grandma so I haven't got to visit her much. Now I get to see her a lot! We got some pictures with her at one of our visits.
The girls thought they were pretty clever when then tipped the blue Bumbo over. They were both squealing with excitement and gnawing on the bottom of it.
Check out Sadie's bottom front teeth! They're peeking out. Who knew Sadie could get even cuter?
And oh those blue eyes! Sadie, you're just so gorgeous!
Sadie has recently learned a fun trick. She can stick out her tongue. Not only does she stick out her tongue, but she sticks it out and some how sucks on it. It's the funniest, and cutest little trick.
Landon and Ethan are working hard to earn book bucks from the library again this summer. They love to go and spend their money at the book buck store. It's one of my favorite things about summer. They earn a book buck for every two books they read. It keeps Landon motivated to read; he has become such a great reader. I love that he can read to Ethan and Sadie now.
Ethan is learning to read too! We try to have reading lessons every morning. Ethan is catching on really fast. He's already read some short stories from his lesson book. The concept has clicked in his head and now it is getting easier and easier for him to sound out words. I'm so excited for him! Reading can be so much fun.
This is just the beginning of many summer strolls we'll be taking. The boys want to go on a walk every day. It's good to get out of the house and away from the video games and TV. I was tempted for a while to sell my amazing BOB stroller so I could buy myself a single seated BOB running stroller. I just love the BOB stroller SO much! I wanted to get a single so I could go running with Sadie; it is a good thing that I haven't parted with this stroller. It's great for taking both of the girls out.
She is amazing! She has grown so much. She sits really well. Her bottom two teeth have poked through too! She had her six month well check. She weighed in at 14lbs. 14oz and is 26 3/8inches long.
Sadie loves to play and play. She stays happy for the longest time if she can just sit on the floor with toys around her. Her brothers like to take care of her. Landon is pretty proud of himself because he can help pick her up and bring her to me now. We all love her. Who couldn't?
