A New School Year

Well, a new school year has begun. Landon and Ethan were both excited to start school. Landon is in first grade, and Ethan is going to pre-k now. What grown up boys. Mommy cried all day on Ethan's first day of school. These boys sure are great to have around. It is lonely without them home, but I am so excited for them to have new experiences. These boys are the BEST!

Family Vacation (Part 2)

Not all of the pictures would fit in one post, so here is part 2 of our family vacation to Disney World!
The boys in jail with the Evil Emperor Zurg!

We stayed up to see the light show on the castle and see the fireworks. It was really amazing. I wish I could have caught it on video. We also got to see Tinker Bell fly from the top of the castle!
I can't remember what you call this place. We were at Hollywood Studios and this is a fake little town. There were no back sides to these buildings.
We had to go on the ride, Dinosaur. The boys had the most fun the last 2 or 3 days of our trip because they knew which rides were their favorites so we rode those as many times as we could. The Fast Passes were a must have! Some of the favorite rides were, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and the Peter Pan ride. Landon also got to go on Star Tours. It's a new Star Wars ride. Both of the boys are now obsessed with Star Wars and were thrilled to find some Star Wars action figure toys to take home as a souvenir.
Pound it!

Ferb was quite impressed with Landon's shirt.
Here they are! Phineas and Ferb! Landon and Ethan were most excited to see these guys. We tried to get them to have their picture taken with tons of other characters, but these were the only ones they got excited about.

They thought Lightning and Mater were pretty awesome too.
These clowns were outside of Dumbo's circus tent. They were super silly!

Landon requested a picture of Ethan and himself inside Winnie the Pooh's house.
Here, the boys are on one of the many bus rides we took back and forth from the Disney Parks to our hotel.
Landon and Mommy on the Astro Orbiter.

One place the boys really wanted to see was the LEGO store in Downtown Disney. It was fun, but crowded. The kids could play with LEGO toys in the store. Here we are in front of Buz and Woody, who are both made out of LEGO blocks. Back behind us was the Hulk.
Disney World was great! We hope to go there again some day!

Family Vacation (Part 1)

Our family took the opportunity to go on a family vacation to the happiest place on earth. We went to Disney World! It was amazing to be together as our own little family and to spend so much time together and have fun together. The boys had the time of their life! I am so happy we had the chance to go.

The boys were amazing on our tip out there in the car. It was quite a long drive!
We stayed at the Love Bug hotel in Disney!
Here we are! Let the memories begin! Ethan acted shy when we would have someone take a picture of our family.
Landon with the BEST dad ever!

Landon thought this was pretty awesome. There were Disney Characters putting on a show in front of Cinderella's Castle. He loved the part with Peter Pan and Captain Hook, but I didn't get a picture of them.
Our family in front of the castle.
We decided that a double stroller was a musts for these boys. There was a lot of walking and a lot of heat! Ethan knew how to cool off.

Ice cream wasn't a bad idea for cooling off either. The sun just melted those cones super fast!

We even got to see Mickey Mouse! He gave Landon a big squeeze. Ethan was too shy to hug him, but he did give him a high five with Daddy's  help.

At Animal Kingdom, we ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.

One of Ethan's absolute favorite things to do at Disney World was to dig up dinosaur bones! He was very serious about his work. He was so excited that there were REAL dinosaur bones.
Here is our family in front of the Tree of Life.
