Cousin Devon got to come home for spring break. While he was here we celebrated his daddy, Uncle Bryan's birthday. Devon was so excited about the clown birthday cake. Landon and Ethan are always excited about birthday cake, especially when they get to eat it! It was fun to have Devon in town for the boys to play with!

Outdoor Fun with Landon
We have been enjoying amazing weather this marvelous month of March! Landon was finally able to test out his bike that he got for Christmas. The rocky driveway is a bit tricky to peddle over, but Landon is getting the hang of it.
Landon loves jumping on the trampoline as much as he likes playing angry birds. Those are the two things he requests most to do.
Daisy loves being outside just as much as the boys!
Landon used to be afraid of swinging very high at all on the swings. I think playing on the playground with his classmates at school has given him courage. He likes to go high now. He even likes the "underdog!"

Chair Covers
For several years, Kendall and I have been battling with stains on our kitchen chair cushions. I forgot to take a before picture, but there was a cream white, textured material covering the cushions of these chairs. Well, we had plastic covers that just laid over the tops of the cushions, but they didn't do their job well enough. I was always cleaning up spills and stains off of the white cushions. Well, Kendall agreed to let me cover the chairs in a different and creative way so that we would no longer have to battle the stained cushions. (My good friend Erika inspired this wonderful idea.) At first, I was just going to cover the original material with thick vinyl, but then I came across this material that I LOVED and so this is the new look of our kitchen chairs. Wahoo! Easy to wipe up chairs!
Mmm Mmm Good!
We recently ordered some peanut-butter sandwich girl scout cookies that are quite delicious dipped in milk. Well, after we ran out, Landon and I discovered that gram crackers with peanut butter spread on them taste much like the girl scout cookies that we ate all gone. Landon loves this new snack so much that he wanted a double decker one.
Angry Birds
Landon has become quite intrigued with the game of angry birds. The object of the game is to knock out pigs by slinging birds at the pigs. Landon has told me many times that the birds are angry because the pigs stole their eggs and made scrambled eggs out of them to eat. Landon is so proud when he knocks down all of the pigs.
Ethan wanted in on the action of playing angry birds too, and had a marvelous idea.
While mommy and daddy were working on getting trim cut and ready for the boys new bedroom, Ethan was gathering wood scraps from the garage. He would stack them up and knock them over with his green shoes! The blocks being the the pigs and the shoes being the birds. So clever.
Later, Ethan was finally able to convince Landon to play angry birds his way. This time, bowling pins were set up to be the pigs, and all of the balls are the different angry birds that knock out the pigs. Ethan is so proud when he knocks out all of the pigs too! What an awesome imagination Ethan has.

More Dino Digging
Along with the egg, that the boys got from Grandma and Grandpa Gallaher, were some T-Rex bones that needed to be dug up. While Ethan was napping, Landon dug up these dinosaur bones. After they were all out of the rock, we cleaned up the bones and assembled them into the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurs Rex! So cool!
The Time Has Come

Paint!
Landon and Ethan are SO excited about their new room. If only those last tedious details would hurry up and be finished!
Pictures of the finished results are soon at at hand!

My Crafty Kids
Landon's best friend across the street had a birthday party, but poor Landon was sick and had to miss it. He made her a birthday card, though, and we walked across the street to give it to her. He was so excited to make her a card. He worked very hard on it. Ethan wanted to make a card too, but he said his was for Mommy. So cute.

Dino Diggers
Grandma and Grandpa Gallaher came back from their cruise with some exciting stuff for the boys. This special dinosaur egg was one of the things. They had to dig away at it until they found the dinosaur inside. Once they got to the dinosaur, Landon said, "Hey! I didn't know that it was going to be a toy dinosaur!" I asked him if he thought it was a real dinosaur egg. He did, but it was still cool!
