Christmas with the Gallahers

Christmas afternoon, our family headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Gallahers' house. We had so much fun sharing some more Christmas spirit with everyone that was there: Great Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Matt, and Uncle Robert.

Sleds!
Sarah, Matt, and Robert had fun pulling a ribbon of bills out of their gift box from our family.
It's always fun when Gallahers get together!

Christmas Morning

This is what the boys saw when they came down the stairs Christmas morning. Santa really thought the boys were good this year.

Landon was the first one to check things out under the Christmas tree.
Landon called up the stairs to tell Ethan that Santa Claus had come!
Look at that excitement!
BICYCLES!!
Books and dinosaurs were a big hit this year.
Santa even remembered to bring clothes, coats, shoes and presents for Mommy and Daddy too!
What a magical Christmas!

Christmas Eve

One of the Church family's Christmas Eve traditions was to act out the nativity story while Dad would read the story from the Bible. Well, with three little cousins together for Christmas, we decided to get together on Christmas Eve. The three little boys were the three wise men.

Ethan sees the star!

The rest of us joined in and acted out the story while Grandpa Church read from the Bible. What a fun memory.

Then, the boys got to open one specail gift.

Later, back at home, we got cookies ready for Santa.
Landon wanted to show off the manger, full of hay, for Baby Jesus.
It was getting late when Santa called the boys to make sure that they were going to bed so that he could come and bring them presents. The boys were so excited and immediately went to bed.
Then, Santa came!

Christmas Party

Landon was so excited to bring gingerbread man cake pops to his Pre-K Christmas party.

Ethan insisted on posing with the cake pops too.

After school, Landon got to bring home some of his finished projects, and one of them was this cute Santa he made.

Wishing You a Merry Christmas!

With Love,
From the Gallaher Family

Manger

We have a wooden manger in our house that Grandpa Church made. The idea behind it is that for every kind thing we do, we get to put a piece of straw in the manger, and by Christmas day, the manger should be cozy enough for Baby Jesus to lay in. Well, Ethan thinks that the baby Jesus from the boys' Fisher Price manger set belongs in that wooden manger. So sweet.
