We got to babysit this sweet baby girl not too long ago. I was a bit nervous that the boys would be rough with her, but they were as sweet as could be. Ethan kept going up to her and patting her on the head and kissing her. Landon wanted to hold her in his lap. They were huddled next to hear nearly the whole time she was over at our house. I think they were smitten by her.

Speech Therapy
I know Grandma Gallaher would tell this story better, but I'll tell it like I remember.
In Kendall's house, growing up, there was some type of book case with a glass door on the front of it. Kendall could see his reflection in the glass door, and as a little boy, he would sit in front of it and watch his mouth move when he would speak. Vicki said that when she would talk to him, if he were sitting in front of the glass door, he would respond back to her while watching his reflection. Apparently it was good speech therapy because Vicki mentioned that Kendall was the only one out of his siblings that did not have to take speech classes in elementary.
Because I had heard this story about Kendall, what I found Landon doing was that much more hilarious. He was doing the exact same thing in front of the bathroom mirror.
(Just so you know, his face wasn't dirty; the mirror was very dirty.)

Oh The Wonderful Things Ethan Can Do
Ethan can go poo!
For a month and a half now, Ethan has been 50% potty trained. He goes #2 every time on the toilet now. He's still working on the other half, but I must say the aroma around these parts is much more enjoyable. He got the first half down about a month before he turned 2 years old! We'll be cheering him on to make it the rest of the way.
Way to go Ethan!
A fun side note:
Every time Ethan flushes the potty, he waves good-bye and says, "Bye, bye poo!"

Landon's Creativity
Landon has an awesome imagination, and his mind is so creative! Landon asked me for some paper and crayons. When I came to look at what he was drawing, I found this...
Ethan
Ethan noticed my camera setting on top of the piano and he asked me to take his picture. What a cutie(even with the left over "washable" marker all over his legs that didn't wash off).
Not So Much a Trio
I hurried and pulled out my camera to take a picture of three cute boys playing the piano together, but Ethan took off. The trio turned into a Landon and Grant duet. Our little rascal Ethan took off and ran to the stairs when I tried to take a picture of the boys together.

Boyfriends and Birthday Cakes
Sarah asked me to make a North Carolina birthday cake for her boyfriend Matt, and two days later, Mary asked me to make a Dukes of Hazard cake for her boyfriend Bryan.

Letters
Landon is on work book number 2 now. We have been working on his letters. He knows all of his upper case letters now, and most of his lower case letters. I love to hear him sing the alphabet song. He's such a smarty. Of course, Ethan isn't missing out. He's right there beside Landon, always, doing just what his big brother does. Ethan's favorite letter is "D." Practically every word he uses, whether it begins with "D" or not, he adds on a "D" syllable to the beginning of the word.
Examples: "bye" sounds like "dye"
"hi" sounds like "di"
Landon is called "Don"
Anyway, those are just a few. I love his little language. He is saying so many words now. He likes to say prayers now too, which is completely adorable. It's so fun to watch these boys grow.

When We're Helping We're Happy
Landon and Ethan can be so helpful. Both of them LOVE to help me with the laundry. I sort the laundry into piles and then they take a pile and stuff it all in the washing machine for me. It's awesome! It's a great way to earn stickers for their "happy charts." Whenever they do something good, we let them put a sticker on their happy chart. When it is filled up, they get a special prize. I have the greatest little boys in the world!

Computer Genius
A while ago, Landon figured out how to operate the computer, and now he's very good at navigating his way around. We found some games on LDS.org one Sunday, and both Landon and Ethan thought it was great fun!
