We had a big blizzard Tuesday night. There was so much snow! The wind was blowing hard too, so there are crazy snow drifts. Daisy was the first one at our house to check it out. Looking out the front door, you could see that the snow had drifted up onto our porch. No one will be walking up to our front door for a while I guess. Luckily our back door is completely clear. The snow drifted off of that spot. We got the boys all bundled up. This time, I swapped the snow suits around. This suit fits Ethan a lot better than it did Landon. According to the size, it should work the other way around, but we work with what we've got. We thought we would all go and see what daddy's shop looked like, but it turns out our driveway was a bit worse than we thought. So instead, we played outside at our house. Daddy started to shovel, but the snow was deceiving. It was much deeper than it looked. We got lucky, though, and my dad had connections and cleared our drive for us. He did it in the nick of time too because there was an ambulance run that Ken had to go on soon after it was cleared. Landon thought the huge hill in front of our house was awesome! He had so much fun climbing up it. Ethan sat on the porch and ate snow. We tried to make a snowman. We couldn't roll balls for the body very well because the snow wasn't sticking together for me. So we sort of piled a snowman together. Then, I ran inside and grabbed some things out of Landon's bedroom to decorate our snowman. He had a fireman hat, nuts/bolts for the eyes, and train track for the smile and arms. Landon was worried about his train tracks getting snow on them, so we didn't leave the stuff on it for very long. Ethan thought the snow was yummy! Landon thought so too. He told me, "Mom, do you want to see my trick?" Then he bent over and licked the snow. He wanted me to try, but I refrained. Once the boys were inside and after we pulled off all of our snow gear, I asked Ethan if he had fun. He sure did. Look at his rosie cheeks and nose! What a cutie. This was a fun blizzard for the boys.
