Sleepy Head

I was cleaning up after Ethan finished eating one day and he fell asleep in his high chair. He actually slept there for quite a while. Of course, when I pulled the camera out to take his picture, he woke up. So he just looks like a sleepy head.
Here is Ethan enjoying one of his cereals.
Ethan has tried rice and oatmeal cereal and seems to like them both. I tried some meat. They were actually Landon's FAVORITE, but Ethan gags pretty bad. I'd say he's not a fan of the baby bottled meat. He has also had green beans, which he ate, but didn't love. He just recently tried squash and seems to like it quite a bit. Hopefully he keeps up the good eating.

No Longer Behind on Blogging

Landon caught some strange virus a couple weeks ago. He was so cranky. For two nights he just cried all night long! Then, he woke up with little red spots on his cheeks and ears. The next day, he had more little red spots, but they were on his lips and tongue. It was so weird. I would think his spots were gone, and find more in a different place. Luckily, he is over all of this now, but we had one cranky, sad little boy. He told me his tongue hurt and asked me to kiss it better. The poor thing. I'm glad he's feeling back to normal, and I'm hoping that I will get back in the swing of things. This means keeping up with the blog. I spent a full day updating, so there are TONS of posts down below. Basically, it includes everything we've done this past month.

Landon let me take a picture of his spotted tongue, but it was after they were pretty much gone.

Alphabet Wheel

Ethan loves playing in Landon's room. He can sit there pretty happy for quite some time when he is surrounded by all of the toys in Landon's room. This alphabet wheel is completely amazing to Ethan. He loves it.

Precious

I just can't get enough of this boy. He's so precious.

Puzzles

Landon has some cute puzzles that Grandma and Grandpa Church made him for Christmas last December. He's a pro at putting puzzles together now.

Coloring

Landon has really gotten into coloring lately. We got him some "Thomas and Friends" murals. These picture were just so cute, I had to post them. Ethan had a blast laying next to Landon while he colored his pictures.

The Parade

We were able to go to the Grape Festival parade at the beginning of September. Here is little Ethan waiting to go to the parade. He's wearing a "Festival on Wheels" onsie.
We watched the parade from the parking lot at Daddy's station. Aunt Sarah was there with Matt. Ethan and Landon sat in the back of Matt's car while they waited for the parade to begin.

Sarah showed Landon how to go and pick up all of the candy that the parade people threw out. She made sure he didn't miss any! He ended up with a big grocery sack full of candy.

The parade begins.

I thought Ethan would be afraid of the honking fire trucks, but he wasn't.
Here comes Daddy driving the ambulance.
The Ladder Truck

Grandpa Gallaher, the Fire Chief, dressed in his gear.

Uncle Dan was in the passenger seat of this fire truck.
Ethan helped Aunt Lisa collect Landon's candy in a sack.
"Uckers!"

This was a fun truck. Landon and Ethan both got big Tootsie Rolls.

Landon really got the hang of collecting all of the candy. Everyone threw him candy because he was the only child where we were sitting. There was no competition with the other kids to make it to the candy first.

What a fun parade!
