Holiday Cheer!

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!
Here are Kendall and Landon decorating the tree. Kendall has to climb up onto the beam to put the angel on top of the tree. 😨
Vicki and I decorated a gingerbread house.

Oh the Weather Outside is Frightful

The weather is getting quite frightful. Landon's fabulous Grandma and Grandpa Gallaher got him some winter gear, and now he's all set for the snow! He got this coat and another heavier one with matching snow pants and mittens!
Then, Sunday we all woke up to the first covering of snow on the ground!
The next day I bundled Landon up and took him outside, just long enough to take a picture. It was way too bitter to play out there. There wasn't really enough snow to play in anyway.

SMOOCH!

Landon has really been practicing up his kissing. Daddy gets kisses on the lips now quite often. I guess that's what Mommy does, so Landon does as well. I've never been one who thought I would allow lip kissing in my family; it just never happened with my parents and siblings (plus, there's germs), but when Landon puckers up, there's only one target he goes for...someones lips! I have to say...he's extremely irresistible.

Bathtub Kissing

So what do I mean by bathtub kissing? Landon was lifting up his knee in the bathtub and kissing his knee. He did this over and over and over again.

Just Like Dad

You will rarely find Ken without a beanie in the winter time. Landon found Dad's beanie after work and tried it on for size all by himself. Then, he went crusing around on his "caw."

Landon's Car Craze

Landon recently learned how to say car. He usually says, "Caw caw caw! Broom broom!" About a week ago, the farmers harvested the corn field behind the house. Landon had a blast watching the "caw."
We went over by the computers and I put a chair in front of the window so that Landon could just sit and watch the tractors. It kept him entertained for quite a while.
Landon also has his very own "caw" that he loves to be pushed on. I think Ken gets a good work out every night after work because he's the engine for Landon's car at this point. I'm sure Landon with be able to reach the pedal soon, and then he can go all he wants!

Mischief and Music

Mischievousness.
But, Landon's latest talent is playing the recorder. I let him play my old recorder while I'm practicing my flute. He's getting quite good.

Like a Pro

Landon can climb up onto the rocking chair like a pro.
He's also excellent at filling the dishwasher. Apparently Daddy's shoes were dirty too.
He's so mischievous, but looks so innocent.

This here is a very tired boy. He slept through his diaper change before we even put him in bed.

Tick Or Treat

Trick Or Treat Night
Mary was so nice to take Landon trick or treating with me. She dressed up like Christine from Phantom of the Opera. She looked BEAUTIFUL! We made it to about five houses before Landon was wore out and we had to come back home. He had fun. He mostly stared at all the other kids, and jabbered to the people who opened their doors to give him candy. What a cute boy.
HAPPHALLOWEEN!

Pit Stop

Landon couldn't handle any more excitement; he had to have something to eat! So off we went to Sonic and got Landon a hot dog, fries, and chocolate milk. What a happy boy he is when he gets to eat!

The Pumpkin Walk

Next, we headed out to the PumpkiWalk!
These silly photo ops were all along the street.

Landon thought everything was pretty exciting.
